Arthur Hayes bought additional Hyperliquid, or HYPE, tokens, renewing interest in the cryptocurrency market.
Wu Blockchain said on July 11 that Hayes spent about $1.1 million a day earlier to buy 26,022 more HYPE tokens. The purchase was his first in about three months and increased his total holdings to 247,334 tokens.
The position is now worth about $10.44 million, with unrealized gains topping $2.5 million.
Hyperliquid was trading at $41.31 on CoinMarketCap, down 1.46% from a day earlier.
