LOS ANGELES, August 27, 2026–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hotchkis & Wiley, a global investment manager specializing in value equity and high yield strategies, today announced the launch of a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) share class for its Global Value Fund. The new ETF is the Hotchkis & Wiley Global Value Fund (HWGV).
This new ETF reflects Hotchkis & Wiley’s continued commitment to offer its strategies through multiple investment vehicles, providing investors with the choice between a mutual fund and an ETF that trades on an exchange throughout the day, backed by the same portfolio and investment team.
The Global Value strategy invests in 40-80 attractively valued companies across the domestic and international equity markets, giving portfolio managers broad flexibility across market cap and geography to pursue the firm’s best investment ideas.
“The strategy for this ETF share class is identical to that of the existing mutual fund, backed by Hotchkis & Wiley’s experienced investment team. For investors, that means the same disciplined approach, now paired with the added benefits of intraday liquidity and tax efficiency that ETFs can offer,” said Scott McBride, Chief Executive Officer of Hotchkis & Wiley.
The addition of this ETF share class builds on the firm’s expansion into the ETF ecosystem, following the 2025 launch of its first standalone ETF, the Hotchkis & Wiley SMID-Cap Diversified Value ETF (HWSM), and the July 2026 launch of ETF share classes for the International Value Fund (HWIV) and Opportunities Fund (HWO). These ETFs give investors broader flexibility to access Hotchkis & Wiley’s actively managed strategies in the format that best suits their needs.
