Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the declined 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Thessaloniki Water and Sewage Co SA (), which rose 4.14% or 0.20 points to trade at 5.03 at the close. Meanwhile, Kri-Kri Milk () added 3.84% or 1.05 points to end at 28.40 and Coca Cola HBC AG (AT:EEEr) was up 2.22% or 1.30 points to 59.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr), which fell 2.42% or 0.58 points to trade at 23.40 at the close. Gr Sarantis SA () declined 1.95% or 0.30 points to end at 15.10 and Eurobank Ergasias SA () was down 1.89% or 0.08 points to 4.32.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 66 to 45 and 21 ended unchanged.

for August delivery was down 0.01% or 0.39 to $4,167.11 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in August rose 2.13% or 1.46 to hit $70.01 a barrel, while the September contract rose 2.18% or 1.57 to trade at $73.56 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.85.
