GME has highlighted its Australian manufacturing capabilities with the release of a new UHF CB radio system for the agricultural sector, announcing the XRS-375CTR Tractor Pack as part of its XRS Connect range.
In a media release, the company said the product was designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia, positioning it as a communication solution for operators working across large properties and in remote or high-noise environments.
GME noted the XRS-375CTR combines the XRS-375C radio with an AE4202 flexible antenna, which GME said was developed for use on agricultural machinery, including tractors and utility vehicles.
The pack also includes mounting adaptors intended to support installation across a range of equipment.
According to GME, the system incorporates a compact metal chassis and integrated speaker configuration designed to deliver clear audio in demanding operating conditions.
Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in GPS receiver, noise reduction technology and user-customisable controls.
The company said the product is intended to support coordination of field operations and contribute to safety across agricultural worksites.
