Amman, July 18 (Petra) – The Jordanian Agricultural Entrepreneurship
and Innovation Association (JAEA) and the Chinese Yangling Model
Organization on Saturday signed a cooperation agreement in
agricultural technology training.

Signing the deal for the association were Mohammad Harahsheh and
Abdul-Halim Abu Aoun, and Zhang Xueming, Director of the
Organization’s Foreign Affairs Office.

It is the third agreement inked by the association during its current
visit to China, following agreements with leading Chinese
universities, institutions, and companies, said JAEA President Imad
Ayasrah.

It underlines the association’s status as a reliable partner in
agricultural innovation projects and international cooperation, he
added.

Ayasrah said JAEA will kick start joint programs and projects that
include specialized training, exchange of expertise, conducting
applied research, developing entrepreneurial and technological
projects, and attracting latest agricultural technologies to Jordan.

These will contribute to raising the efficiency of the agricultural
sector, enhancing food security, empowering youth and entrepreneurs,
and supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals.
