NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) – There is a new place to get both your workout and physical therapy taken care of. Snap Fitness and Generations Physical Therapy celebrated the grand opening of their newest location, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and guided tours on Monday.
The two companies collaborated to create a wellness hub for the community, offering a space for both fitness and outpatient physical therapy.
President & CEO of Generations R.C. inc., Dr. Eric Tarr, said a place such as this earns its name.
“It’s in our name,” Dr. Tarr said. “That’s what it’s about. It’s about generations of a family taking care of generations of other families, and that’s how we got started.”
Tarr said it also represents the state as a whole.
“That’s West Virginia. West Virginians will give you the shirt off their back. So, we’re here to help the community, and the community in turn, helps us have a business where we can stay and grow in West Virginia.“
The gym portion, Snap Fitness, will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Both Snap Fitness and Generations Physical Therapy are located at 101 21st Street in Nitro.
