JAKARTA – Running is one of the simplest sports, but has tremendous benefits for physical and mental health. Not requiring expensive equipment, this activity can be done almost anywhere, from city parks to special tracks.

More than just physical activity, running also becomes a medium to build healthy living habits while strengthening social awareness.

According to Dr. Brastho Bramantyo, Sp. THT-BKL, Subsp. Neurotology (K), ENT doctor at RSCM, maintaining body health through sports such as running also has an impact on overall quality of life.

“Regular physical activity helps maintain optimal body function, including the balance system and general health,” he said when met at Senayan Park, Gelora, Tanah Abang, Jakarta on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Running regularly provides various benefits, including:

– Improve heart health and improve blood circulation

– Controlling body weight by burning calories

– Reduces stress and improves mood

– Improve sleep quality

In addition, running is often a means of self-reflection. Many runners claim to find peace while running, including Anggi Wahyuda, one of the participants in the running event.

“Every step while running is like giving space for clearer thinking, while reminding us that the process is important,” said Anggi.

In the midst of the increasing trend of healthy lifestyles, there is a movement that combines sports with social action, namely Nobel Run 2026: Equal One Track.

This event was held on August 9, 2026 at 05.00 – 10.00 WIB at Senayan Park, Jakarta. This event is a collaboration between Nobel Audiology Center, Najwa Medika Clinic, Kitabisa, and SalingJaga.

The goal is not only to invite people to live a healthy life, but also to increase awareness of the importance of inclusiveness for Children with Special Needs (ABK).

Director of the Najwa Medika Clinic, Abdul Rohim, explained the meaning behind the theme.

“We want to give awareness to the public that all individuals have the right to equal opportunities to advance together with inclusiveness, with equality without exception. Everyone has the same right to participate and achieve common goals,” he said.

This is in line with the conditions in Indonesia, where millions of children still need better access to health services and inclusive growth spaces.

Kitabisa Group CEO, Vikra Ijas, emphasized that this activity is not just symbolic.

“Every step taken by the participants is not only symbolic, but also has a real impact on those in need,” said Vikra.

Through the participation of participants, support will be channeled for the provision of assistive devices, therapy, and facilities that support the development of ABK.

Meanwhile, Roy Andre Simanungkalit from PT. Nobel Jaya Mandiri added that this event is expected to be a collective movement.

“We want to present not only a sports event, but also a space to build empathy and open access for children who process the world in a different way,” Roy added.

Nobel Run 2026 presents various categories, ranging from 5K, 10K, to 1K Kids Run. Not only that, this event is also designed to be inclusive with a special category for participants with special needs.

After reaching the finish line, participants can participate in various activities such as:

– Sensory Corner to understand overstimulation

– Boundless Instructions, a simulation of the instruction processing challenge

– Collaboration with inclusive MSMEs

Protection programs are also provided through SalingJaga.

“SalingJaga is present so that runners feel safe and protected from the risk of accidents, as well as a form of mutual help,” said Vikra.

Running is no longer just an individual sport. Now, running is evolving into a collective movement that is able to unite various layers of society for a greater purpose.

With the spirit of “listening deeper, walking together”, Nobel Run 2026 invites the public to contribute. Because in the end, every small step we take can bring about big changes, both for ourselves and for others.
