Eden Futures, a Lincolnshire-headquartered company backed by Sovereign Capital Partners, has acquired a West Midlands provider of supported living services to adults with learning disabilities and other mental health conditions as part of its buy and build strategy.
Established in 2015, Wolverhampton based Complesso now supports more than 200 clients through a combination of supported living services and bespoke community support for people in crisis.
Eden Futures, operates nationally and supports people who are autistic or have a learning or physical disability or experience mental ill health.
Complesso director John Harper said: “A key focus of the sale process was to identify a buyer who would maintain the quality of support to our clients that has been the differentiating factor in the growth of this business over the past decade.
“At an early stage, it was clear that Eden shared the same ethos and ambitions for the business.”
The shareholders of Complesso were advised by Bates Weston Corporate Finance (lead advisory – Kate Evans, Nicola Bullock and Chris Jones) and Wilkes (legal – Rick Smyth, Alex Lakeland-Reed, Charlotte Keyes and Taylor Meadows).
Evans said: “Complesso is established as a leading provider of care to people in their own homes and has a reputation for quality across Dudley and neighbouring areas.
“I’m sure the company will continue to prosper as part of Eden and we wish them well for the future.”
Smyth, partner in Wilkes’ corporate team, added: “We’ve had the privilege of working closely with the Complesso team to prepare the business for sale, and it’s been rewarding to see that work come to fruition.
“This transaction is a great example of how Wilkes can support owner managed clients through significant milestones, and we’re delighted with the outcome for everyone involved.
“We wish the team success going forward.
