Britain’s economy grew by a better-than-expected 0.5% in the three months ‌to ⁠February, official figures showed today.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast 0.2% growth in gross ‌domestic product for the December-February ⁠period compared with ‌the previous three months.

In February ⁠alone, ‌the economy grew by 0.5%, the Office ⁠for National Statistics said, compare to ⁠expectations for a 0.1% increase.
