According to Trump’s annual financial disclosures released on Tuesday, his companies received almost $800 million from World Liberty Financial, a crypto venture co-founded by Trump and his sons. The amount included more than $520 million from crypto token sales and more than $250 million from the sale of interests in the World Liberty business.
Trump makes $635 million from meme coins
Trump reported another $635 million from sales of his Trump meme coins. The gains from crypto have surged sharply in the past year. For comparison, he reported $57.35 million from token sales at World Liberty a year earlier, implying a roughly nine-fold increase.
Even before being elected, Trump had described himself as the “first crypto president” as he sought to roll back regulations on digital assets. He later introduced policies and initiatives that the crypto industry viewed as more favorable than the Biden administration’s approach.

White House says no conflict of interest
The disclosures have renewed questions about potential conflicts of interest, but the White House rejected those concerns.
“Neither the President nor his family has ever engaged — or will ever engage — in conflicts of interest. President Trump proudly made the United States the crypto capital of the world through executive actions,” White House spokesperson Anna Kelly said in a statement.”All actions by President Trump and his administration are taken in the best interests of the American people, and any so-called ‘reporters’ suggesting otherwise are recycling the same tired, false narrative that Democrats and the legacy media have pushed for a decade,” she added.

What are Trump’s other sources of income?
While crypto gains accounted for the majority of Trump’s reported income in 2025, he also disclosed more than $80 million from settlements with various media companies and $52 million from licensing his name to overseas property developers, driven largely by deals with Middle Eastern partners.
Trump also reported a 15% rise in revenue at his golf and resort businesses, to more than $500 million in 2025. Revenue at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida — which Trump has referred to as the “Winter White House” — rose to $77 million from $50 million in 2024, while revenue at his golf club in nearby West Palm Beach climbed 27%.
A spokesperson for the Trump Organization said in a statement that “the breadth and depth of this filing further underscore our commitment to transparency. At nearly 1,000 pages, it represents one of the most comprehensive financial disclosure reports ever submitted and demonstrates a level of financial transparency unmatched in presidential history.”
