Senate Democrats Pour Cold Water on Updated Crypto Bill Draft

Senate Democrats are giving the new draft of a landmark cryptocurrency bill a cold reception as GOP leadership signals they will move ahead with a vote.

“It’s a partisan text,” Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee with jurisdiction on the bill, told Bloomberg Government. “There’s a whole bunch of issues I have with it from ethics all the way down to conflicts.”
