The Hashgraph Group, a Swiss company developing Web3 and AI solutions, and String Metaverse, India’s first publicly listed Web3 infrastructure company, have launched the BillsOnChain platform on the Hedera blockchain.
The new service converts paper receipts into tokenized digital assets. Users can upload receipts to the blockchain, where they become immutable records that can be verified, stored, tracked, and used for $NFT minting. The platform also supports VAT automation, audit compliance, and invoice verification.
According to the companies, BillsOnChain has already attracted more than 31,000 users with Hedera wallets. More than 830,000 receipts have been uploaded to the network, while over 430,000 NFTs have been minted using Hedera’s distributed ledger technology.
The project is designed for governments, financial institutions, enterprises, and small businesses. The platform can help automate accounts payable and receivable, improve invoice tracking, reduce fraud risks, and simplify cross-border settlements.
